i went to diamond valley lake for the 1st time with my brother.the bass are starting to make their beds already and i saw some very huge bass just cruising parallel to the shore.i did get a few follows with the spro b-b-z i was using and one boil when i cast it close to the docks but that was about it.no hook ups at all. i did see a guy with a nice sized striper caught on a sardine. we'll try again next week.but i'm bringing my matt lures bluegill this time.we decided to call it a day and stopped by at perris to make a few casts before heading home. i caught 4 trout within 15 minutes. i used a gold panther martin and had alot of hits but they seemed to actually be more interested in chewing up the blade. but they were a decent size.took them home , filleted them and deep fried them with breadcrumbs and then wrapped them in bacon.and fried em again. pretty good stuff.:Bug Eyes:
