View Full Version : thursday night and friday on the old no 7 = awesome

the crew - me, moish, worthington, dark clay, kemper, mike machin
met up with the old no 7 crew in san diego at 10pm. after boarding and a quick trip to the receiver and a bunch of scoops of sardines we were on our way. the ride was ROUGH. dumped and swayed all night, i woke up every half hour falling out of bed. around 5am the deck hand nick starts yelling "hook up, wake up, be aggressive!". we fly out of the cabin so *** backwards, but mike, worthington and i get three big albacore in the boat. clay and moish hook up on the next bite and get fish on the boat. kemper got a nice bluefin around 9am. we motored around the rest of the day to pick up a fish on the troll every couple of hours. nothing was hitting the flylined bait, all fish were caught on the troll.

i'm not exactly sure where we were fishing. capt jeff brought us to the fish with no questions asked. i think around 55 miles south west of san diego in mexican waters.

and paige's head is already in Co.
