3/25 Rental boat.

Stroy: Well my mom had a great day at bingo on Saturday, she won quiet a bit of money. Called me last night and asked if we could go fishing. I said sure we can but we will only be able to fish until the weather gets ugly around 2 o'clock. We hit up the Vine and got in a boat and launched out at 8 am. Drove right to the flats. Tried everything and caught nothing. Nature called so we pulled in and then decided we would try the west shore. Drove over to the west shore and put our poles in the water. Pretty slow on the action. My brother hooked up into a fatty at 10:00am. Get it to net after a bit of fight. We were all shocked at the size. It was a 4lber. 5 minutes later I hook into something decent. Get it to net and it was 3 1/4lbs. Couldn't find any other action. Tried another spot nothing. Even another spot, hooked into a nice 2lber. That was it for the day.

Totals: Me 2, Brother 1, Mom none :(.

Technique: Yellow PB, carolina rigged with a 18" leader and dipped in BITE ON Roe caught the 4lbr. Orange/Chartreuse Mouse Tails, carolina rigged with 3 foot leaders and dipped in BITE ON Roe caught the other 2.

Location: West shore 30' from shore.

That 4lber is a personal best for my brother!

great job out there, but I think MOM should get to land the first on any rod...............just sayin.
