I started at Juniper 8:15 & was gone by 10am nothing hittin from the grass to the eastern point. So I went home & ate then hit kmart for worms & a jar of PB. Check this out for some reason I gravitated to the sherbet color & it was the color of my day. I headed to the damn but it was packed & guys said they only got 2 fish, I was out headed east on the north shore & ended up at a favorite spot just passed the buoy line.
I tossed a inflated crawler & some PB on a 3ft leader and waited 10 min when the PB pole went crazy(garlic gr/purple nymph) & I landed a nice 14".
Tossed em in the bucket in case it died after that one fish & rebaited. I manged a couple more the same size & a lil smaller so I figured I would change up my leader to 5ft yes 5ft. Casted out and within 2min had a nice 16" fish. I also decided to add some length to the crawler making it about 2-3ft. Same thing couple minutes had a fish on it & this fish was pulling drag for a bit before it wrapped around something and cut the line.
Waited about a hour & nothing else hit the crawler but the PB was producing fish & nice one's so abandoned the crawler & hooked up another PB pole. All in all I landed 10-12 fish in about 5 hours keeping these 5 since the freezer is low & prespawn trout tend to get nasty tasting.

The day was gorgeous after the terrible snow storm we got & another this weekend 3-6" coming so you folks keep that in mind.I had more pics but lost em shuffling stuff around doing PC maintenance. Hope you all enjoy the report with out em lol.

I'm going up to my mountain home this weekend and will do a little bit of fishing when I am up there. I might stop at bbl too. Caught some light pink trout before, but never saw the lake trout as pink as these ones.
