Fairmount crazy fish

Well hit the old local fishing hole Fairmount today for 3 hours and got the very common "skunk". I had a very nice one on, but she came unbuttoned when she jumped (I didn't realize I had on a barbless hook). The big carp are spawning and it's is very entertaining to watch, with all the splashing and chasing each other almost on the shoreline. Some of them actually come swimming out of the water. I wish I would have made a video. I think all this activity from the carp may have put the bass off. Things should calm down in a couple weeks.

Pea-soup! Hahaha dang, I wouldn't feel comfortable tossing anything other than a spinnerbait in that water!

No actually it's pretty clear. Perfect water for predatory fish like bass.

I like the bridge area to fish too but the other side of the road. Only problem is the water gets a lot of junk built up around it. nice pics
