It was just one of those days where everything worked out. Got to the lake and saw fish rising right away!!! 5-10 at a time. matched the hatch for a little while (bwo size 22) with a few fish. Then i threw on the big stuff... There is nothing more kick *** than watching trout crush a huge size 10-12 dry. Threw on a dropper later when the bite slowed down and it quickly picked back up. Had a great day fishing with my brother and snapping photos. All fish were released.

My fly is in the middle of those 2 fish rising....

I've seen that water somewhere before. Got to get up there and throw the old flyline around. Nothing better. Don't need no bait, don't need no stink-en scents. Nothing but lip hooks. How was the water temp in your waders? Anyone tubing?

theres nothing more exciting than watching any fish, take dryflies, foam crickets, poppers ect. using the fly rods.thanks for the report BM.makes me want to go right now.cant wait for the big red ears, to start surface biting at the pudd again.nothing like a 1lbr hitting a cricket with a 14 hares ear dropper..thanks for the report....

Dry's are the best. That Pudd sounds like a great fishery. I have read your reports before and am always impressed. Might have to mosy on over one of these days. The pan fish game is very intriguing. Tight lines.

Fished at the PUDD today 3-21-2012 finally see some schools of redear mixed with small bass hanging around submerged rocks... some surface feeding .... Hope this is the start... I managed to get 2 to bite on a slow retrieve on a light color brown hare's ear.
