Got to the lake late again. ~8am, in the water around 830. Light rain and wind turned into what felt like the Perfect Storm on my toon. Dead drifted some mice tails around trout island. The wind and rain picked up ALOT and it was almost impossible to manage two rods and keep my lines from crossing, so I settled on just using my Ultra Light rod. White caps began to show up, and it got so bad that some waves would be so big that my trolling motor came out of the water.
Managed 4 trout by 1030am and called it quits. I was soaked. Good thing i had an extra hoodie with me. Great turn out for the tournament. Great prizes Sport Chalet. But man, you guys made us wait so long in the cold and rain for the results and the raffle! lol
As a side note, it was funny seeing so many smokers asking others for a light. Everyones lighter got wet..lol
