Got on the water by 7:30, had to use the second ramp cause they are finally starting on the construction on the first ramp. Worked the shallows for a bunch of dinks and a 15 lb carp. The carp was foul hooked on the tail. That nasty fish put up a good 4-5 minute fight. got it up next to the boat and pulled the hook out. There was no way i was getting that slimy thing in my boat. Funny thing is another one of the regulars foul hooked a carp on the tail as well in the same area about 5 minutes before, same size. Worked my way around the shallows and when i get to the other side of the lake a shore angler had another carp as well. I believe the carp are spawning or schooled up right now so if any of you guys like to fish for pudds giant carp, now is the time. No pictures of the carp or dinks.
