Got to the lake about 6:45 am , a little late but I figured the rain forecast would keep the crowds away and I was right ,plenty of room to fish . I headed straight for one of my favorite spots the pump house, I hooked up one of my rods with a green white mouse and some Bite-on garlic for some still fishing , I started dropshooting a pink lippriper with my other rod for about 1 hour , but not a bite . It was getting frustrating because there was 3 guys to the left of me pulling on fish non-stop:mad:. I tried green,orange ,white and nothing , I tried kastmasters and nothing so I pulled out my powerbait and dipped in the Bite On and it was game on. I was like a kid in a candy store:LOL: , all smiles and I couldn't get enough. Talk about wide open I couldn't bait one rod when the other one was already bending ,Oh and thanks again BRING IT for helping me net those fish . and what great fish they were , great quality and some hard fighters , I got my double limit and was off the lake by noon. SARL is off to a hot season.
