Hit up the vine on a mission to make up for the horrible opener I had.. (Fishing was good but lost 3 DD Trout).. Any ways Me and my buddy had a late start and did'nt get to the lake untill 10am.. After getting our passes we headed straight to where Me and the rest of the Bite On crew caught or hooked our big fish.. Fished there for a couple hours with out a bite but we saw a few good ones cruising the shore line So we opted to head back in the flats. There we manged to catch 6 rainbows from 2 to 4lbs on Yellow/White mini jigs and Chunky Cheese power bait dipped in Bite On Roe.. 3:30 came around and I told my buddy lets go back to the spot and see if we can get a big one.. Sure enough 10 min before closing time I hook into a good one on the Yellow/White jig and Bite on Roe. After a 10 min fight a solid 7lb 10oz bow hits the shore. So all in all it was a pretty good day and we could tell that the scent we used made a huge diference. Till next time
