A friend and I hit BBL from about 9:30 to 4:30. Like etaggert we were getting hits right away. We had 5 by early afternoon and then limits for both of us by 4:30. All small fish as other have shown. Never did find one to peel some drag on our light gear. Still a good day on the water. Wind came and went with the clouds. It did seem like the bite picked up a bit after the sun hit the water for a while around early afternoon. Fished mostly down by the north shore area of the west dam. The trick seemed to by to use as little bait on the treble as possible to expose the points of the hook. When we threw worms they were just inhaling them. Might go back one more time this year.
