Do pedestrians have to pay at eldorado park?

I need MOAR TROUT. I'm gonna bus it there, But I wanna know if I still have to pay to enter on foot..

If you come in off the river channel side, it's always free. I do believe pedestrians don't have to pay. You can call Long Beach Parks and ask though. I've just gotten used to buying my annual pass each year, so I can bring the bikes, the kids, and the dog to make a party out of it. It's still the best bang for the buck in OC/LB.
