There is a forum to discuss the upcoming fishing closures so let your voice be heard. The meeting is at Sea Lab in Redondo Beach this Tuesday from 7-8pm

Why would you think they are going to listen now? Just window dressings.

This is a meeting to tell you where you cannot fish....not to have you discuss why the MLPA shouldn't be enacted. That was last year.

Remember this law is not only fish. They wanted this law so fishermen need to help
enforce the MLPA law. People need to call on these MLPA law breakers.
I wonder if they are going to enforce the MLPA for non fishermen.
The law states ALL MARINE LIFE ! From the High Tide Line to the outer border.

It would be great if people called DFG for Law Breakers. There on my speed dial.

Example; the City of Laguna Beach wanted this law.
If you see a kid put a Sand Crab in a bucket in Laguna CALL DFG.
That kid or parent should receive a ticket. It is the law.
Failure of DFG to show up for what they feel is minor offenses can be challenged.
Local Police can be called next due to lack of Wardens showing up. This is the law.
Failure of Police or Wardens to enforce law can be followed up with a complaint filed
or even a lawsuit.

Anybody with me to help enforce MLPA Law ?
