I have the Thanksgiving week off for vacation and I really want to make my first trip to the Sierras, but don't know where I should/could go. What should I expect if I go. Also if I go, gonna take the wife. Any suggestions?

Season is closed Nov 15th or 16th. If you go up for thanksgiving you can fish the owens river or pleasant valley reservoir. Both spots offer great winter fishing.

East walker is also on the list but it gets rather cold in bridgeport!
