Castaic is on Fire!!!!!

where to start........fished tuesday, friday and saturday and each day continued to amaze me to say the least!
jigged some shad each day and landed a numerous lmb but towards the afternoon, my brother landed a 6 lber to emd the day with a bang! fished Friday and made some bait but this day, there were less bass but i landed s 14lb striper on 8lb test line and it gave me a hella of battle, followed by a 5lb stiper!!! the fight was awesome and a big thanks to Armen who actually saw the striper take my bait while i was talking and not paying attention. fished saturday, today with my buddy Kenny and i landed a 7lb lmb, the fish gave me a great fight! Castaic was nice to me this week....lets see what next week brings....

Thanks Dave....without the shad fishing is very difficult to say the least. fighting that striper on light line was just awesome! never got too excited until the fish was on land, then i let out a huge "booyah!" fishing is wide open is you can make some shad.....
