The little storm cell that passed through was a distant memory today as beuatiful weather greeted the nearly 600 anglers who came out to the lake today. Fishing was very good early on from the West Shore and Woodys Cove as the fish showed reckless abandon for what they preferred to eat. Fishing in the Santiago Flats picked up as the day wore on as well and countless anglers reported limits from that locale.

Once again adding scents to your baits was very important as anglers where reporting fish showing a prefrence for the Bite On Garlic, Bite On Roe, Berkely Trout Dip in Garlic/Mint and of course the Garlic Alive Gulp spray. Dousing your powerbait or nightcrawlers only enhances your odds of gettig bit so anglers are encouraged to have a bottle of scent on them if fishing is a little slow at first.
