Ok, swung by Sav-on yesterday and picked me up some big hammer morf grubs ..... quick questioned ....
Do you add scent to these grubs? smelly jelly, unigoop etc. ?
I'll be testing it out tomorrow morning from the surf ....

you don't really need to add scent to those, but it doesnt hurt. They're perch/croaker killers all by itself

I add scent.
Fish seem to hold onto the grub a bit longer with scent applied.
One of the one's that I like that has been productive for me is..
Pro Cure's SAND SHRIMP (GHOST SHRIMP) BAIT SAUCE....

I've also had good results with Unibutter and the "Salted Anchovy" Smelly Jelly.
Add scent. It helps.
