Went down and stayed at the beautiful Melia Cabo Real all-inclusive resort in between Dos Cabos. http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l191/gregmadrigal/Cabo/P8150959.jpg

Fished one day out of the Palmilla Fleet near San Jose Del Cabo.

The day was perfect, the weather was hot 100 or so, but there was cloud cover in the am which helped. the seas were gorgeus! Only a slight breeze to keep us cool. We headed towards Cabo San Lucas on a beautiful new 26' superpanga.

We were the only boat in this area 3 miles off the beach when I spotted some dolphins. So Jaime decided we should troll starting there. Within 5 minutes my purple/green feather started singing on my Calcutta 700 with 20 lb. We stopped and this thing almost spooled me! Started gaining and pulled in the biggest tuna of the day. I'm bad at guessing weight (Maybe 15lbs?)

Pretty soon we were surrounded by the fleet and most boats were hooking up about 1 tuna every 15 minutes for a few hours. We drifted away from the group as the morning wore on. We began slow-trolling sardines and had some great luck. We hooked and lost at least 4 larger size dodos when they jumped. We managed thi lil guy tho.

Had a wild finish to the day as a tuna smacked a trolled sardine and then we had boils all around the boat. I saw dodos chasing our chum like crazy. Watched one poor bait greayhound himself right into the side of the panga! LOL!
I threw out a bait and got murdered THREE times by tuna while by bro was still hooked up to the troll-fish! All bites were short tho, and I managed to farm him.

All in all, a GREAT DAY!!!
