Living in Los Osos and growing up in the area i have been surf fishing around here most of my life. Well next week teh wife has talked me into camping at doheney and i was just wondering if fishing the surf is an option there?? Is it part of the MLP fiasco? Thanks a lot for any info you can give me

Howdy,
Yeah, you can surf fish there. Take some mussel with you and you will get some perch and maybe some croakers.
Water was really dirty 2 weeks back, should be cleaner by now though.

Thanks for the help, I am really looking forward to wading around in some warmer water! Dont really know why I am 47 years old, lived in california all my life, but never really thought of heading down south to try the surf fishing, I guess you get in a rut. Again, thanks for your time and the information
