In my last year up north I've fished all year in different locations across NorCal. Of the places I've fished, the Delta is the one that is changing how I look at fishing.

Let me tell you this...don't get stuck in the SoCal reality. I learned how to bass fish down south. Every time I fish the Delta, I learn things you can never fathom fishing the small reservoirs in SoCal. Every day you launch on the Delta is something unique. 10,000 miles of waterway and just about any species you want to chase. Each levee bank and cut has hidden features that elude the untrained eye, even spots mere yards from each other. The bite can turn from madness to zilch like a light switch...and cracking the code is completely addicting.

When you are sick of too many boats on crowded water, when you want something different than the same banks that have been beaten to death...head north my friend.
