Try shrimp...that works pretty well, otherwise u can use nightcrawlers too,but u will end up hooking up tons of baby bass.
As for bass fishing,I dont know a lot,but plastic worms work there.
I won't recommend you to go there this week because they havent stocked anything for 2 weeks already, there wont be a lot of kitties.

I've been doing well with a lipless crankbait. Sometimes I catch them on a plastic worm fished really slow on the bottom. Noticing a lot of the bass are close to shore hiding under rocks, but they are all around the lake....at least they were before the water levels went down. Haven't been able to catch anything in the last few days.

Caught a 3 pounder before the water levels dropped a couple of weeks ago.

Right now, spinnerbaits and chatterbaits are great. Spoons are working, too.

The water is cooling down, and in these shallower lakes, bass are much more lethargic.

Is there a typical day they go and do the stocking? They are stocking cats this week here, at Peck and the Pudd.

Senkos work for me, but I've seen people catch them with curly tail grubs and roboworms
