Twas the night before Halloween and all the ghouls and goblins where out getting ready for the next days scare. All the while the good folks of Calavares Trout Farms and Irvine Lake where eagerly awaing a pre Halloween treat for all the customers of Irvine Lake. All was quiet at Irvine Lake not even a whisper could be heard. All of a sudden there arose the familiar sound of an air horn signaling they where here!

A couple of our staffers and volunteers where on hand to witness the stocking. Christian one of our dock boy is trying to call my attention to a bigger fish. It was a little out of my range with the camera. Looks like we need to invest in a waterproof model.
We stocked the first truck on the main ramp that way the fish could spread out into the boat dock cove, woodys cove and west shore areas.
Just as the crew settled down for a little mid day snack did the next wave of fish arrive.

This time it was Steven from Calavares Trout Farms creating the commotion.

I like this shot a lot. You can see the fish coming out the tube the sun is setting on a perfect Southern California day where temperatures where just right. And the trout are getting ready to bite.
