skunk!!!fished with my son from 7 a.m. til 4...fished left of the west launch ramp in four different spots and didnt even get a nibble..the only good thing was that some nice guy guy gave us a 5 lb striper after i gave him a soda..thanks...oh yeah went and watched the motorcross action by the lagoon afterwards

Did you guys rent a boat. shore action at castaic isnt as bad as pyramid can be but its not exactly the best either. At least you got a fish.

didnt rent a boat...my son wanted to stay on shore so he could goof off waiting for the fish to strike...i wanted to rent a boat and i know i would have got some fish from elizabeth cnyn or the buouy line...gettin ready to filet it n eat it..those boat rentals r expensive now...i remember when it wuz $55 for the day on weekends not just during the week..now its $78 for the weekend

yea they went up alooooot. Oh well at least you were out with your kid, thats always good times.
