I was planning a family trip up to the sierra's. I never camped at the "Bishop Creek Side RV Park" and was wondering if anyone has stayed there before? If it isn't a good place to camp, any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record. Let me suggest Parchers Resort....

Due east on Line St from Bishop.. They have RV spaces....

Smitty and family or employees will treat you right, you will feel like family.. Tell them you are from FNN..............

You can walk to fish two running streams (big or small) or take day trips or hike to almost anywhere. Mile up the road is South Lake (Parchers has the boat concession there). Intake 2 a few miles, just to much to mention.....

They will put you on fish or the best Hikes or day trips, no one knows the area better. Smitty has hiked/fished almost every inch of those mtns....

Youll be glad you did...........

Here's a really good list of places to camp - rv or tent.

Oh - and Creekside is a great place to stay if you want RV hookups and easy access to the stream. If you're tent camping, I might recommend one of the USFS campgrounds...Sabrina Camp, Willow Camp, Bishop Park and Mt. Glen all have some choice tent sites.

Hey Smitty,
I've never been to Sabrina but I'd like to spend a couple days right on a lake camping some time while we are up there. Other then COLD how is the Sabrina camp ground? Lots of trees or is it open?

Looks like they close 10/1 so maybe we can stay Wed and Thur night then move on to Toms place.
