Have not been cat Castaic for a while. After dropped my kids at school, I have a couple of hours to kill so I went to Castaic. It was little windy but fishable. Jigged some shads at the dock about 10 shads then I went to my spot.
Fist cast they bite but I missed it. Rebaited casted out...few second later bam bam...it pulled the drag then jumped... here come the lmb. It was a legal size, released her back then tried another bait...there come MR. striper that I have not gotten for a while.
No more bait so went home with my 4-5 lbs stripey.
