I've decided to sell my Shimano Canis Rods. I have two 7' baitcasting rods. $100 each.

These rods were the Top-of-the-line Shimano rods back in the day. I have used these to catch yellowtail, white seabass, halibut, sharks (smoothhound, pinback, and leopards), bat rays, calicos, sandbass, sheephead, bonito, etc... I've used these rods recently drifting for halibut. They are in well-used condition. They have scratches on them from being strapped together with other rods on long range trips. They have been dropped on the deck and have scratches on a few of the guide wraps. This does not affect the performance of these rods. They are very well-built and have tons of backbone to muscle in anything! These rods are very rare to come across these days. They have become collectibles. I still fish mine. They have never been been broken or repaired. Some say these rods were too brittle because they're made of boron. Neither of my rods ever had a problem.

Here are the specs:
CS-70G-T
Lenght: 7'
Lure: 1-1/2 - 2
Line: 14-20
Fuji T-18P reel seat
