A bit out of your area but the lower lagoon at Castaic.
Isabella but probably as much of a drive as Castaic. There is also the Colorado River and its lakes like Mead, Mohave and Havasu. Down south on the river there are many little lakes like Squaw, Senator, Martinez, Ferguson. These are in the Yuma area.
