PSSSHHH... yeah right! Did you hear somewhere that they would? Go to Peck... better bite, less people, cleaner water AND it's free.

The hours do change 11/1, but where did you hear there'd be no charge? And is it just for the first week?

It's been like that for years now. During weekdays of winter schedule there is no vehicle charge at LA Co parks. Check their website .......

They still charge you if you're launching any kind of watercraft. But just the launch fee, not an entrance fee.

What about Fridays? Is that considered a weekday?

Since the beginning of time. :-)
Yes, even the county considers it a weekday.

I did, and it's not that clear to understand:

Admission Fees:

Vehicle Entry Fee: $10.00 daily (Year round)

March 1st – October 31st (daily)

Vehicle Entry Fee: $10.00 weekends and holidays (November 1 through April 30)

I see now it doesn't include weekday, but it's still confusing! Maybe I'm just slow.

Heck no! I've been traumatized by too many car accidents to see a sight like that.
Have you been recently? Is the dock fixed and/or water levels back to normal?

As of yesterday (Thursday 10/29) Santa Fe Dam was still charging during the week. Hopefully that will change come 11/1.
