Fished on a 1 1/2 day on the Endeavor. Left Seaforth Landing with 16 anglers Tue night around 10:30p. Headed to the western edge of the Butterfly Banks (70-80 miles).
Started trolling around 8:30p. Saw the Pacific Queen in the same area. Large ground swells and white caps. First jig stop around 10:30a. At noon, we had maybe 30 fish. :(
Worked closer in to about 50-55 miles where we found the mother lode. Loaded up on albies 25-35lbs. Ended up with 132 albies. :D
One guy stayed in the bunks the whole trip. My nephew (Eric's son) caught four albies. We came in early at midnight and I got home at 3a. There's a ton of fish in the area. My friend was on the Pacific Voyager on an overnight and they caught 100 fish. He also won the jackpot with a 53lb fatso albie.
