Fishing continues to be red hot for anglers hittnig Irvine Lake. Shore anglers and boat anglers continue to catch the heck outta the catfish from boat dock cove, the west shore, rocky point and the Santiago Flats. If you are after limits of eating sized catfish boat dock cove and the Santiago Flats have been wide open. Anglers are catching the wiskerfish on mackeral, shrimp, and marshmellow mealworm combos. Adding scent to your presentation has proven helpfull with Bite On Garlic and Bite on Cajun proving to be the best scents.
The amount of quality sized cats coming out this month is nothing short of amazing. It seems like every night we are weighing at least one to two fish in the 10lb class and this week was no exception!

Just a reminder boys and girls that next weekend is the last weekend of night fishing. Lets round out this Summer Catfish season with a bang! Come on out to the lake and enjoy some wide open fishing with the family. If you are after those quality sized Catfish in the night time this is your last chance. Then we will be on to Trout Season.
