got there at 6 am with fishingguy 68 and his dad , slow morning great afternoon, 3 bass biggest 7.5 lbs best day of fishing so far

Wow! Nice bass! I could show you old photos of lots of bass, crappie, big Bluegill and Channel Catfish we used to catch at Henshaw way back in the early 1970s (I'm dating myself now). There used to be an island (Monkey Island) that we would wade around. The shallows were full of sticks and brush and there were 2 to 5 pound bass everywhere! Throw a floating Rapala or Rebel in there and shake it and bam! Hook-up! Those were the days! No catch and release either...
