Boil-fish,,troll-fish,,shad-fish,,what a weird day

i had the day off from the reg work ,so it was time to fish, as i rounded the corner going down the pay gate at the lake i looked up the fish arm and i saw birds working and boiling, i hit the water and hauled a/s/s to the area. i pulled two bigger units off the boils, i worked the area for quite a while for zip after the first two. so i decided to troll the area and see were the bait schools and stripers were at exactly ,after a while it was hook up, then another,then it died, but i saw were some shad was stacked against the shoreline and a crane was wading and working the shads. i pulled up the troll gear ,moved around and did the shad dip a couple moves and some shad. tied several areas with the shad for zip, got hit up by three different boats asking about shad ,i got talked into giving some away and found two more spots too dip more. kept moving around till i found the hot school, smooth water blocked by the wind. put on a thread fin a big split shot on 6lb test and put it down, it wasnt long and it got ripped , i wacked 6 in the area before they moved out on me. small crowd today and some real different action,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,S/O,,,,,,,,,
