Was wondering if anyone knew if there are any restrictions on using kayaks in the lakes around bishop, mammoth or the in the june lake area. I know lake crowley does the mussel inspection thing before being able to launch there, but I haven't kayak fished anywhere else. Any info is appreciated.

None that i know of. This year I took the kayak to Crowley, Convict, Mary, Silver and Gull. My favorite was Silver, the views are awsome and you can get right into where Rush enters the lake. Mary charged a $5 launch fee. After I paid it I started to wonder what the fee was used for. Think i got punked.
