Hit the surf a little after sunrise today with my 2 roomates. They caught a few shorties. I landed a 12" wsb annd 25" butt. Lost my lure and decided to call it a day.

Great way to start the day.. The part about loosing your lure was not so great but regardless it was money well spent in my opinion.

Thanks guys. hit me up next time you head out to the surf Jerry. This is Alan. Its tough dragging out Felix and Hai nowadays since have their 40 inches for the season. I only have weekends. It sucks driving out to the beach, just to find out there's red tides. Been disappointed the last few trips out. This trip had clear waters for roughly a little over an hour before the tides came through

Lol. I gave it away as a party gift. Had a bday to go to later in the evening and the fish didnt go to waste. I'm sure everyone has their favorite lures, and even though I have other lures and plastics on me, it just doesnt feel the same. I fish with what I have confidence with, but I would rather have luck on my side any day.
