Mono floats, Fluoro sinks. Wondering how the different line may affect 1/64 and 1/32 minijigs. Any thoughts?

Here's a link to the videos put out by the makers of Trout Magnets. They use a 1/64 darter head for their Trout magnet plastic jig. In both the "Trout Magnet Setup" video and "Trout Magnet: Wade Fishing" video, they say it is important to use fluoro. Of course, they want the Trout Magnet to sink and skip along the bottom.
