Hey Viners,
Hit the Vine today. Arrived at 2pm and it was hot out on the lake.
Hit the red cliffs which had been real productive recently. After about 3 hours and no bites we moved. We ended up along the west shore right by the dam. We fished there for another 2 hours for nothing. We then returned to where we started. We started getting hit soon after we arrived. Only problem was we couldn't get anything to stick after the 1st bite. They seem to be keying in on the shrimp now and avoiding the mak. and bonita. We burned through a pound of shrimp and ended up with a guppy which we released. Most everyone I heard had about the same luck. Over all, a slow night. My guess is you guys will be looking at a LATE night bite tomorrow nite.
I might come back out Sat. nite since it's one of the last night sessions this year but I don't know after this nite.
