Hello everyone, i'm dying to try some trout action! I'm thinking of going to big bear in a couple of weeks or so. ANyone have any suggestions. Are trout good around this time of year? I live in Ncounty San DIego and would like to know. How about Hemet Lake? DVL or Corona? Would really appreciate any info. THanks :) J

The BBL Dam was going off with big boils 2 weeks ago at sunset time.
We stopped for 5 min at the Dam and watched the action. 1 guy was fishing.
Looked like Tuna boils 100' from shore every 30 seconds.

Wife and I went up to Oktoberfest :Beer Toast: Oct. 15 & 16 and I drive her around the lake, she thought it was to see the scenery but it was my recon. First stop was Eastern ramp on north side and there is the only place I saw some action. Three stockers in 5 minutes, all with 4-5 ft leaders. Windy Point nothing happening and Boulder Bay nothing as well. There were a lot of cars down by the dam but we didn't stop there. Things could change in a couple of weeks.
