I've been going out fishing on my days off from work...(living in bishop is great)...and to put it lightly, the fishing has been WO. I fished a couple of hours in the morning last week, and a couple of hours in the afternoon. Each day, i used either crickets or inflated night crawlers. The rainbows loved the crawlers, and the brownies loved the crickets. Since i always do CPR, today i switched over to barbless hooks, which allowed me to release the fish way faster. All in all over the last 3 days with 6 hours of fishing, i landed 15 fish, 11 browns and 4 rainbows. The largest brown was 12", while the rainbow was 14". Here are a couple of pics from the last couple of days. All pics were taken with my cellphone.

I'm afraid that if I lived in Bishop, I would never get any work done. Nice pictures!

We fished that spot the night before the snow storm. WOW It was cold, I had 3 layers of thermals and sweats under my waders, a shirt, a flanel, a flece, and a heavy snow jacket and I was still FREEZING. Had a great time though. My brother and I were the only ones out there.

Being employed in the perfect fishing place has to be absolute ecstasy.
