I went out there for from 1pm-7:30pm and caught NOTHING!! I mostly used Nightcrawlers, and tried every way to place my bait, letting it sink, dragging it along the bottom, floaters, ETC. Tried the South dock and the East. A couple guys with about 7 or 8 rods caught one 14-16in catfish within a 4 hour period, and they were using shrimp, and cut up baitfish they caught under the dock.

Maybe I was doing something wrong, or maybe the fish weren't hungry. Anyone else had any luck there recently?

Is there any deeper water in the pudd right now. I thought the waters receeded to just about nothing.

Puddingstone is about to get REEEEAAALY tough.. Once the water cools down there and the Bass go deep, they get EXTREMELY tough to catch. Tougher than most lakes during the winter..
Id meter around and use the dropshot by dropping it right down on them and deadsticking it...or you can use a 1/2oz silver Kastmaster and spoon with it..... and of coarse the split **** will usually get fish there during the winter... But overall its never on my radar to fish during the Winter....Just plain brutal!!
