fished my 1st quarry yest.(my brother in law has a skeleton key)and really enjoyed it.even though we only caught 1 fish each(only fished a hour)there appeared to be lots of action going on in the water(def. more than the pudd)look forward to doing it again soon. p.s. 2 fish caught on ika's and 1 on jig

Hope the quarry is not the one next to Vulcan and 3M mining facility. That water is, well, not a good thing to play in, or eat from. If you want to play in the quarry, focus on the one near Lytle Creek, after a good rain. Plenty of fishes get trapped in there from the creek overflow. Next best one is along the Redland's creek, just above the 30 highway, near 5th st. Plenty of trouts and carps trapped in there after a nice big rain event. Found a few handful of dead ones after a few days of sunshine.
