has anyone ever fished over there in the swim area were the water is really dead. Its so dead its like a lake. I was thinking about going out there tonight and seting some poles up and hitting that area. I know the pier is right there to but i never get much luck on the pier.

cabrillo beach right?? i think parking closes @10pm. also $1hr ; not sure how much parking maximimum is..; only usually see lots of lizards /yfc... with occassional legal halis also there

ya cabrillo.. you can fish all night you dont want to get locked in.. we usually park the street and walk all the way to the pier. as you walk to the pier to the left the surf is almost like a lake and no waves or anything... i was just wondering if anyone has hammered anything out of there
