How is the lake doing? Are people catch trout or catfish up there? I dont know if I should make the drive up there, I went to big bear 2 weeks ago and got the big S.K.U.N.K. it was disappointing...but hey thats fishings!

Mojave Narrows isn't really happening yet, give it another month or so. Same with Hesperia lake for trout.
Jess Ranch is fishing good on trout at the moment.

Is jess ranch that one heavy stocked pond near bear valley rd? Must be nice. And as Mojave it must be a city park lake too?

Jess Ranch is private owned and no license requried. They have a fish hatchery on site. Price is $17 per adult, I think Mojave Narrows are around $15 or so.
It's off Bear Valley, south on Apple Valley Rd in Apple Valley.
