Going to my boys Baseball tournament and staying on the beach. What's is hitting from the shore there? Anyone know?

Most all So Cal beaches hold fish. Perch, Croakers, Halibut, Bass, Sharks, Rays ect.
Depends on what you want to target ? Bait, lures, plastics ? 4lb to 30lb rig ?
