this will be my first season fishing for trout what kind of swim baits do u use u guys all keep saying swim baits is that for the trout just asking cus im new to fishing still

No... Swimbaits are not for trout. They're for stripers or even a
LMB.
Swimbaits mean using trout sized baits (huddleston, ac plug, ms slammers etc) to catch larger fish that will pray on the trout.

As of yesterday no stocking at Silverwood, was supposed to happen yesterday per staff.

Bummer Castaic or Pyramid arn't on the list yet, sure hope it's better that last year, time to get the gear cleaned up and oiled and start doing some upper body work outs going.
