The striper bite is slow and steady, and DEEP!
Got 10 fish Thursday with 5 between 5 and 8 lbs.
Got 9 fish today with 4 between 6.25 and 8.25 lbs.
Lost one BIG one today. Just could not control or move him, and eventually did one too many head turns and caught the leader on his gill plate knife and cut it. Was never able to actually move it towards me at all, ever, in a pretty long fight. I guess I lost that fight. If fish could give you black eyes, I would have two of them.

Im a LMB angler but love reading and seeing your reports on murdering those striper!! Keep it up and sorry about the BIG one! Im sure you'll hang em next time.....

To Gerald- Great job again with Mr. Stripey! You definitely are Mr. Consistent. Too bad on your big boy, as it's not your fault, just the physical structure of the striper. You'll get that big one next time. Keep up the good work out there. Thanks for the nice report and pics.

Very impressive. First response by me to your posts, but you definitely got DVL down for the linesides.

Gerald , I really wanna know if your wetsuit still fits you , lol lol As your probably just dying to jump in the water and get these things with a gun . I like your setup of like 9 white trolling flies and lures in back . I trolled the area you told me about last weekend and got a double hookup on first pass , but that was it as the fish just disapperead , ha Trolling for stripers is a different want then bait and wait , you my freind GOT IT DOWN .
