Got to perris round 5 and fished the docks near the boat launch for nada until my last cast, I got this guy http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b110/Sublime_Steve/CIMG0017.jpg
It was dark by then got it on a green senko texas rigged. good fighter :-)

Thanks guys, that's twice now ive stayed until it was completely dark and didnt get bit once ( by a fish lotsa skeeters) till i couldnt see.. maybe there feeding @ nite? im hittin it up right now ( the next morning) to see how the bite is

Hey anyone know what time the lake closes for boat traffic on weekends now? Is it sunset or can you be out there till 8:30(i think)? Thanks,

For shoreline fishing, you can fish up until 10pm, unless you're part of the camping groups, which then allows you to fish all night. Otherwise, you must be out of the park by 10pm. Fishing on the water, boat must be out by 8:30pm. This will only last until November I think. After November, all vessels and tube must be out of the water by 6:30pm. Park closes around 8:30pm. So, no fishing beyond this time since we all have to be out of there by then.
