well with my usual Thurs off and my friend Jason off work too... decided to hit up the usual AO this am first... minimal salad, moderate waves with some lulls in between, no wind, and cool conditions...

as soon as we get there.. my friend lands this 12" perch within 5 seconds

walked down the beach and picked off only a couple more... but found some sand crabs, and I later look over at him and he's got a nice drag pull going... decide to film this vid:

we got a visual on about a 3 foot SNGF after about 10 minutes, but it came unbuttoned as I was getting ready to tail it... oh well... will have to take a pic another time... but it was his first SNGF!

not much action there, so we decide to fish the remaining incoming tide at Pt Dume... nice conditions there too... minimal salad, moderate waves, and pretty clear water. Lots of small bsp/walleyes caught there... especially at the edge with crack... something basically nibbling with every cast.

Jason again lands a quality 12" bsp that he says stripped about 30 seconds of continuous drag  that bsp must've thought it was a tractor too... this one looks pretty THICK...

all in all was a pretty good morning out... hardly anybody on the beach... just the way I like it
