I haven't been up to DVL in like 4 years. Since the private boat offshore season never really developed this year, I plan on fishing DVL this Saturday for some stripers. My question is, my boats already been inspected and approved, how long should I expect to wait in line in the morning, and what time should I get there? Thanks in advance for the help guys.

Even if your boat is already inspected and approved they do a quagga mussel inspection when you get there make sure your boat is completely dry or else you will be turned around. What I do is before I start heading up the hill I will pull over drop my lower unit just in case there are a couple drops to be safe.

one drop from the prop=skinner

I got **** for having a COOLER in the boat when I pulled up with a few drops of ICE COLD WATER in it from the ice melting from being an hour old. "wellllllllllll....I guess I can let it go this time."

Your boat needs to be dry as a popcorn fart for these guys.
