Hey guys,

Fishing a secret spot in the IE yesterday, wasn't doing so well. Only a few smaller bass. However, as the sun started to set, I switched up lures and tied on a Seizmic Toad jr. Two big blow ups, but neither hooked up. Went with a bigger frog, a Gene Larew (spelling?) model, two tone, with a 3/o hook. Cast it near some reeds where I could hear a bass smackin' surface food. Three seconds later, and BOOM, hookup. Wresltled with this beast for a bit on light line. Had to unwrap him from a fallen log, no fun with low light. Finally got him to the shore.
17.5 inches, 4lbs on my mini-scale. Frog fishing at night---->awesome.
