24 for me and 7 for my bud (sorry for the waxing:LOL:) 14 lb for the biggest 5 and a couple smallies as icing on the cake. All cpr. Buzzbaits, flukes, wakebait in the a.m. then c-rig and jigs the rest of the day on points outside the grass line in 13 to 18 feet. Even a few crank fish when the wind blew the last hour. Get up here, beautiful 70's temp during the day, water was 65.5 early and warmed to 68 mid day. Here's a little fish porn for yahttp://i1136.photobucket.com/albums/n483/otisbbl/bigbear1021/sept21bass.jpghttp://i1136.photobucket.com/albums/n483/otisbbl/bigbear1021/3plussmallie-1.jpg

Very nice! A bit windy up there? Looks like there are plenty of ripples in the background.

not at all. Grease until noon, then maybe 8 knots after 2 p.m.

Hi scott e,

Nice job on the Bass. Smallies in the P-gravel .... think I know where that stretch might be located. Gonna do a float-tube trip up there before next month. I hear one's gotta get a tube checked out for the evil Quags. Gonna go check the BBL website for details on this .... but any suggestions on getting on the water legit before daybreak the day one goes up ?

Damn, Scott!!! Great haul - Gotta watch you in action some time to pick up some pointers. I may PM you next time I'm up to see if you'll be working bass again before the lake cools.

Nice catch. Big Bear is becoming a good fishery again for trout and bass.

Try frogs on the grass mats. Not an early bite here. Bass hit better mid-morning-
